Ask Me Anything

I've seen a lot of blogs do "Ask Me Anything" posts and I've always thought it was so fun to get to know the blogger a little better.

I thought this week I'd play along and let you guys ask me any questions you might have.

School questions?
Twin questions?
Mommy questions?
Book questions?
Random questions?
Anything!

Maybe I will even try my first ever vlog with my answers!

So go ahead.
Fire away!
(Hopefully this isn't a total bust and I actually get some questions!
With over 600 followers, hopefully some of you will ask me things!)

I look forward to reading your blog and admire how you are strong in your faith and commitment to family. With twins and another young child, I am curious what you do for YOU. Do you have any me time? What would you enjoy doing if you could carve out a little time of your own? Even though my children are older, I feel that I did not take the time for me when they were younger and I can see how important that is now.

I have two questions!
Mandy I love your blog! I am in grad school to become a teacher. Any advice for first year teachers... Or the first couple of years?
Also advice for someone who is having twins?
Enjoying reading about your adorable family and all the advice you give!

Love your blog and your family is just too cute! I love these Q&A's as I feel you get to know your readers better and we can clarify things that we don't know or misunderstood.

1) Why did you choose Reagan, Hudson and Harper as your children's names? What were the other choices? If you have more kids, what would you name them?

2) Do you find it easier or harder to pick a baby name being a teacher?

3) What products do you use for your hair? (random, but your hair just looks so nice!)

Are you going back to teaching or are you going to be a stay at home mama now that your twins have arrived?

Hi Mandy, I am currently in my last semester of college and will graduate with my teaching degree in May! I love reading your blog. I originally found it as a teacher blog but I have continued to read because I love hearing about all the fun you and your family have. Do you have any advice for those looking for teaching jobs?

Hey Mandy! What a fun idea for a blog post!
My question is....
How did you decide to leave teaching and stay home with you babies? Did you struggle making this decision?

Oh, this is fun! Do you have a daily schedule that you "try" to adhere to with the twins? It seems to be that you must because you seem to accomplish so much and no doubt, you are very organized. I can't wait to read the answers to these questions. Happy week!

Hi Mandy,
I love reading your blog. I am currently an undergrad studying early childhood/elementary education. Do you have any advice for getting a teaching job or for first time teachers in general?

Thanks so much!

Hi Mandy! I've got two questions for you:

I know you mentioned that Reagan was having a little bit of a hard time adjusting when the twins first arrived, but now that you've all had a little more time to settle in, how is he enjoying being a big brother?

I know you probably don't have a ton of free time with 3 little ones, but are there any TV Shows/Movies that you've watched recently and enjoyed? I'm always on the lookout for some new ones!

Looking forward to your questions post!

How do you find the time to do it all?! You have 3 kids and still find time to blog. To me that sounds like wonder women. How do you manage your time?

Hey girl! How do you & Nick find time for each other? Do you have a set date night every couple of weeks? Every month? I find it hard with one little to find the time to make a date day or date night, how do you do it with three?

Hi! My question is....how did you deal with working mom guilt?!

What would your career have been if you didn't go into teaching?

Favorite alcoholic drink?

Hi Mandy - I'm a new follower of your blog... Here are a few questions for you... What is the most romantic thing/date you and your hubby have had? Even though you love being a mom, what is the one thing/things you miss most about your pre-baby life? What is/are each one of your kiddo's cutest traits?

I was wondering if you have enjoyed taking time off of work. I am sure it has it's moments, but on the whole do you feel like you are getting bored or miss teaching? I was also wondering how you came to the decision to take time off? Did you and your husband start saving the moment you found out you were pregnant so that you could make it a year without two incomes? Did you take time off with Reagan? I just wonder these things because my husband and I are going to start trying to have a baby in June and I am not sure if we are prepared for one of us to stay home for the whole year. I also think I would get bored and just crave intellectual engagement.....but I bet when the baby comes it will be so all consuming that I won't have time to be bored ;)

Hi Mandy! We have chatted once or twice before because my son is only a few days older than your twins. I remember reading that the twins were sleeping really well, but got sick and weren't sleeping great during that time. The same thing happened to my son, but after he got better he is still not sleeping well. Are yours back to sleeping through the night? If so, did you do anything to help them get back into that routine or did they just do it on their own? Thanks! :)

Okay I asked a couple of questions already, but they are missing so either you 1) deleted them or 2) there was a glitch when posting from my phone! :)

I haven't read the other comments, so I apologize if their duplicates. 1. Do you plan to return to work? If so, do you know when? 2. What does Nick do for an occupation? 3. What store do you shop at most for clothes {childrens & yourself}?

Thx! :)

Sorry if you have blogged about these things before, but here are a few questions I have.

1. I think you have done "day in the life" posts, but I love those so I think you should do another one soon to let us all know how you possibly do it with three little ones every day.

2. Do you workout or have a certain workout routine? You look amazing so just curious :)

3. Where are some places you'd love to vacation to? With just the hubby and as a family.

4. What is your family's favorite meal(s)?

Hi again, I already asked you one question yesterday but I thought of another. :)

How much do you sleep at night? I know that sound funny, but I just admire how much you do for your family and what a great organizer/planner you are (I am crazy about organization too, haha).

Also, what are your favorite meals to cook for supper?
