Hi friends!
I am linking up for the first time for Monday Made It with 4th Grade Frolics.
I decided to finally re-do the stool in my classroom.
I originally painted it blue and white back in the day when my classroom theme was blue/white gingham / garden. And even though the last couple of years I had been teaching with an apple theme, the 'ol stool stayed the same. But this summer it got a face lift.
Here is the before:
And here is the after:
Just painted over it with regular paint from Michael's.
Then covered it with a coat of Mod Podge.
Ta Da!
I have tons of to-dos for my classroom, so I know I will be back linking up again for more of these link-ups!
I thought you might like to see some before pictures of my new classroom.
I took these in May when I visited the school and met my new class.
(All of the stuff you see is from the teacher who currently teaches in the room. She probably thought I was nuts taking pictures, but I wanted to go home and "plan"!)
Do you have any ideas or advice for my new space?

Oh, You'll have that classroom so cute and catchy before school and your students will love it. My daughter so enjoys getting her room ready each year. She gets so many ideas off Pinterest.
Happy 4th of July week!
I love your stool! I'm thinking about repainting the stool I saved from the neighbor's dump trip last summer. I painted it black last summer, but it definitely needs to be monster-ized!

I love that stool!! So cute :)
Super cute! Can't wait to see how you make your room your own! :)
I'm in the same boat as you! New space, so I need new ideas. I'm off to goodwill soon to find some little kid chairs or bean bag chairs. Let me know if you find a good site with some easy decor ideas! :)
What grade are you going to be teaching? My co-teacher and I did a bird and polka dot theme this past year with our 40 little kiddos.
