We had a wonderful Father's Day Weekend.
Friday
It started out on Friday night.
Nick got off early because he went in early.
We met my sister and her little family at our favorite splash pad.
We stopped at Subway for some dinner first, and brought it to have a little picnic. It was perfect. Reagan loves the splash pad but we hadn't been yet this summer. This was also the twins' first time. I wasn't sure if they would be too little, but they loved crawling around and splashing. Hudson was terrified of the fountains that sprayed up but Harper just laughed and laughed. Poor Hudson got cuts on his toes from crawling on the ground so much. I felt so bad! Poor little guy!
Playing on the picnic blankets with Aunt Meg, Charlotte, and Uncle Shaun.

Hudson trying very hard to steal Reagan's sandwich.
And they're off!
They loved to splash!

Mommy and Harper drying off.
Reagan playing with his toys in the fountains.
After we splashed and played for awhile, we walked down to get some frozen yogurt. Reagan insisted on bringing his pirate map and made us follow him to find the treasure. The Friday night bar/dinner/date crowd loved him. He is such a ham and loves the attention.
Saturday
Saturday was pretty uneventful. We did projects around the house and hung out together! Nothing too exciting to report!
Sunday
Sunday we woke up and went to church. After church we took Nick out to breakfast at 5 and Diner. It was sure chaotic but I think I just have to come to terms with this is how our life is going to be from now on! It was the babies' first time sitting in a restaurant high chair and it took a little maneuvering to figure out how to sit them in the booth they gave us. Of course right when we sat down it was time for them to be fed, order our food, and entertain Reagan. It was a bit stressful but this is life!
After lunch we went home and the babies napped. Reagan, Nick and I played some Wii sports before the boys headed off to the movie theater for a little date. They went to see Epic and really liked it.
That night we just hung out and ordered a pizza.
We got Nick some cards and a gift card to upgrade his phone. For the boy who swore against getting a smart phone, he has used his so much it's ready for a new one! Reagan also made one survey about Nick at church and at home with me. I sure do love his answers!
Couldn't you just picture him saying them?
It was a great Father's Day and I think Nick really enjoyed all of the love.

Oh, it's so good to be back reading my favorite blogs. It's just too hard to try to keep up when I'm away from home. But, I have lots to blog about when I get settled in.
I can't get over how big the babies are getting. What a wonderful Dad's day and I'm sure your hubby felt very celebrated.
Sweetest blessings to you!
Sounds like a great weekend! Love the pics of the kids at the splash pad! We have also decided life is always chaotic so just go with it lol! We still go out to eat too but it's always a circus act :)
