What we've been doing....

Eeek.
I can't believe I go back to school tomorrow.
Winter break has totally flown by.

I will be happy to see my little firsties and give hugs, but it is sure going to be hard to leave my little boy.  I got so spoiled this break. Especially this last week.  The first week of break he was testing, testing, testing me. And I often said "I could never be a stay at home mom with him 24/7". I mean- hitting me, lots of "no!", and full on tantrums in public. You get the picture.  But this week he was the biggest sweetie. Motherhood is definitely not always rainbows and flowers, but when it's good....it's really good! :)

Some fun things from this week:

(1)
Reagan and I went to the AZ Museum for Youth with my older sister and her kiddos.
These cousins had an absolute blast!

(2)
My parents took my younger sister and I out to a great dinner and then the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson show. Too be completely honestly, I was expected a circus- a fancy one. My family can't get enough teasing me about that .... but really- I had no idea. But it turns out it was not filled with animals or freaks but really an amazing show. I love Michael Jackson music and his dancing so this was right up my alley. If it comes to your city- GO!
(Us at dinner first)

Here is a little clip I found online.

(3)
For NYE I made some of my favorite appetizers, busted out the board games, and had my family over for a little night of fun.  It was VERY laid back... So much so we all wore jammies. We played

(4)
On New Years Day we went to the last Arizona Cardinals game of the season.
(I love this picture of my hubbs, my son, and my daddy!)

 (Reagan with the Cardinals mascot.)

PS- for all you Bachelor fans out there!
Keep an eye out for one of my sorority sisters tonight!
She is my great-grand-dot... so I never was in school with her! But still fun!

Love Casey! We lived in Adelphi at the same time so it is so fun to see her! You are an amazing teacher Mandy! You were the very first classroom I ever stepped foot in and you made me want to teach:-) Good luck tomorrow!
