Little of this and that..

First of all... Whooo Hoooo!! I am officially on Fall Break.
I had a busy week with parent teacher conferences. They went well. I had all but one show up and it was wonderful to be able to connect with parents and share success stories. I now have a week off and Im super excited!
I have been doing lots of reading lately.
Remember how I wrote about trying audio books? Well, I have since fallen in love! I have listened to 3 books on my drives to and from work and it is great! (Big Girl, Nights of Rodanthe, and The Lucky One) It takes some getting used to the one voice doing all of the characters... especially since 2/3 of these have been Nicholas Sparks southern books..... but I eventually get sucked in. Of the 3, The Lucky One has been my favorite. I am still checking out books from the library, and their selection of audio books is definately limited to older releases.

Do you have any recs of older books that are "must reads"?

I also continue to check out regular books as well. I had two friends reccomend the Nora Roberts "Bride Quartet" so I started reading them. I have read the first one, and have the second one sitting on my end table. I am currently reading the second book by Lauren Conrad (dont laugh!) They are actually really enjoyable. Totally similar to The Hills.

What are you reading? Anything good to recomend?

Reagan is becoming an avid reader like his Mommy.... Here is a cute picture that Nick took of us.I love that Reagan LOVES to read!

I love Nicholas Sparks books too :) The last one I read by him was A Bend in the Road which was good! I actually read Lauren Conrad's first book too!

Enjoy your fall break!

Have you tried John Grisham or David Baldacci? Love them both. Also Barbara Delinski and Kristin Hannah.

I love Nicholas Sparks! I just read Save Haven this weekend and it was awesome! Have you read The Rescue written by him? Or The Last Song? Both are amazing!!
