Strawberries and Football

This week my first graders have been learning about and using their 5 senses. Today we finished it up by having a strawberry investigation. Each student got a strawberry and had to talk/write about how it felt, smelled, sounded, tasted, and looked. Kind of a fun way to finish 5 senses.

Just found your blog & am a new follower. We are also teaching senses right now. We end our unit with popcorn. Smelling, hearing, tasting, seeing, they love it!
