Our Easter and TTT!

We had a wonderful Easter!

I took a bajillion pictures- so be prepared!

Reagan had so much fun!

I made little Easter goodies for my nieces and nephew.

Nothing big or exciting, just a little something.

I loved looking at these little bunny bottoms the night before Easter.

Easter morning Reagan woke up and was so excited to go look for eggs.

Harper and Hudson's were from Carters.

Reagan's was from Gymboree.

After the egg hunt, we explored the Easter baskets and had some cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

Then we all got ready for church.

The kids looked adorable in their Sunday best!

Don't you just LOVE the twins holding hands?

After church we went to have lunch and spend time with Nick's Mom, Step-dad, and Grandma.

The Easter Bunny stopped by their house and left a trail of eggs and some baskets for the kids there too! We had a delicious lunch and Reagan explored in their backyard. They have a pond that Reagan just loves to watch.

Later that afternoon we headed to my parents' house for Easter dinner.

We had another delicious meal and hung out.

We were all so exhausted that night!

It was a wonderful day spent with family.

I hope that you had a special day as well!

Oviparous animals part 2

One of my favorite spring time units that I did in the classroom was oviparous animals.
I find it so fascinating and so did the kids.

When I went to Pinterest to find some more, new oviparous activities I was shocked to see how much my blog post about this subject was pinned!

 I hope you have been able to use it in your classroom as well! 

Here are some new ideas I found on the subject!

I've used this poem in the past with my kids for our daily fluency practice.

I had written it as an anchor chart.

But I love the way Mrs. Williamson made it all cute!

I would totally print this out for my kids to have their own copy or include in their fluency folders.

I always do a class oviparous animal sort.

I found a cute freebie here from Khrys Bosland's TPT for the kids to have their own sort.

Might be a great station or independent practice activity!
