Santa 2013

Yes, I know... it's February 1st! (Happy February!)  But I realized I never posted a picture of the kids with Santa this year. The kids were sick with colds and not feeling too hot, plus we were running low on money- so I knew the free pictures from Bass Pro Shop was the way to go this year!

The twins screamed bloody murder the entire time and Reagan just kind of stood there.  When Santa asked Reagan what he wanted this year, he responded in the quietest whisper -"a shellraiser".  It was pretty anti-climatic.  I was definitely happy we didn't pay for this year's picture! But I'm also glad we got it captured for posterity!

Halloween 2013

We had a nice little Halloween night with our crew.
We had a pizza dinner at my parents' house and went trick or treating with the kids!

Everyone was pretty tired, so we were home and changed by 7:45 which was great!
The babies were troopers and were pretty content just being pushed around in the stroller.

As far as our costumes this year... we let Reagan take control again and decide what we should be.  He wanted to be Captain Hook (forever loving the bad guys, I tell ya!) He proceeded to decide what everyone else should be as well. I think it all worked out pretty well! :)

Our Minion and Monster Mike manned the front door while we went out trick-or-treating!

Here was our  crew from Neverland!
Nick was Mr. Smee,  Harper was Tinkerbell, Rea was Captain Hook, Huddy was Peter Pan and I was Wendy. Reagan was pretty pleased that we all were what I decided ! :)

At my parents' house before trick-or-treating!

My pretty little Tink!

My handsome Peter!

Love these two!

Costume details:
I tried really hard to pinch pennies where I could this Halloween! I originally had all 3 kids costumes in my cart from Disney and it was ridiculously $$! So I decided to try my best and cut corners. I decided that babies' costumes didn't need to be high end since they really weren't going to wear them again or play dress up. Obviously Nick and I didn't need the real deals- so I shopped around and found similar things. The most expensive thing of all of the costumes was Reagan's hat. But it was worth it. I swear- he got so many comments on it and I know it will be a great addition to our dress-up collection! :)

Reagan:
Captain Hook hat (Disney Store)
Captain Hook shirt (Costume Express)
Hook and Sword (Party City)

Harper:
Tinkerbell outfit and wings (Costume Express)
Tights (Target)
Tinkerbell bow (Etsy)

Hudson:
Green tee shirt (Hobby Lobby)- I just cut it up
Peter Hat (Etsy)
Green Tights (Walmart)
Brown Ribbon for sash (Hobby Lobby)

Nick:
Bandanna (Hobby Lobby)
Blue/White shirt (TJ Max)

Mandy:
Nightgown (TJ Max)

More October Fun!

Boo!
We started the month off by "boo-ing" a couple of our neighbors! I've always done this at school, but never at home so we thought we'd give it a try. I saw it spread, but not hugely.  Hopefully next year will be better!

Reagan was so excited when he got "boo-ed"! (My mom left him a surprise, rang the doorbell, and hid around the house until he discovered it." He was so stinking cute- screaming and fussing! "Someone knows everything that I love!!" Ha

We were also "boo-ed" by a neighbor!

Happy Birthday!
Nick celebrated his 32nd birthday! We had a little birthday lunch out without the kids and celebrated with cake that Reagan made at home.  Reagan really wanted to get Nick a new watch and was so adorable going to pick it out.  He felt like such a big kid.

We celebrated with Nick's Mom too.
She made his favorite dinner and dessert and the kids all got some good grandparent time!

PV Mom Fall Picnic
One Saturday was my mothers of multiples group picnic. Hudson woke up sick, so Nick stayed home with him while I took Reagan and Harper to the picnic. It was fun to catch up with my friends and Reagan had a blast playing and trick or treating around the park.

Pumpkin Fun!
Our family got really into the pumpkins this year!
The boys only carved one, but they (ahem- Nick) did a great job!

Reagan really wanted an Arizona Cardinals pumpkin and obviously Nick obliged!

Reagan and I painted a Mike from Monster's University.

And we painted a Minion from Despicable Me.

Fun with Friends

We had a great time at the railroad park with our friends and cousin!
These boys sure love to play together and their mom and I always love to catch up! Friends since we were in elementary school!

Autumn-fest 2013

Every fall, one of our favorite things to do is attend Autumnfest at our church.  It is so much fun for the kids and each year it gets bigger and bigger.
They had bounce houses, slides, a petting zoo, carnival games, food trucks, and more.
Here are some photos from this year's fun!

Reagan and cousin Sawyer!

The three oldest cousins!

The twinkies were actually alert and having fun this year!
They were not even 1 month old last time!

Pumpkin Patch 2013

A few weeks ago we took the kids to the pumpkin patch.
We went with Nick's dad, step-mom, and little brother Cooper.
We've gone to this particular patch the last 3 years and we've always had fun!
It is definitely one of our favorite things on our October Family Bucket List!

Here are some pictures I took that afternoon!

My sweet girl was pretty unsure about the whole thing!
Ha. She is such a diva!

Reagan couldn't wait to ride the horses again!
