St. Patrick's Day

Soo happy that this week is here!
Monday was a full day but Tues - Fri are half days due to Parent / Teacher conferences.
I don't know about you all, but I LOVE conferences!

Next week is Spring Break (during St. Patrick's Day) so I am spending what extra "non reading block" time I have doing St. Patrick's Day stuff.

Here are some of my St. Patrick's Day read alouds.
Here is our song for the week.
We've graphed Lucky Charms cereal.

And written about our results.

We played St. Patrick's Day Stations.
pattern practice
building words
and put objects in order
After we read "Leprechaun on the Loose"
we wrote about how we would catch a leprechaun in our classroom.

We also made rainbow projects.
If you remember from last year 's post, I have always decorated the classroom at the end of the week like a leprechaun visited and made a mess of our room. It's a fun way to end our week of St. Patrick's Day fun and send them off to Spring Break! I got some of my table jobs for the week fro Kindergarten Hoppenings and the stations from Musings of Me!
Do you all have any good St. Patrick's Day ideas? I would love to add to my file for years to come!
