Our Saturday was party-filled!

Happy First Birthday Cooper!
Yesterday was a busy day for us. Nick's baby brother turned 1 and Bruce and Lisa had his birthday party. It was fun to see their friends and family all celebrating this little guy's special day.

That evening we dropped Reagan off at my parent's house so that Nick and I could go to our friend Holly's birthday party/dinner. We went to a fun place that I haven't been before called Toby Keith's I love this bar. It was really fun and I imagine that everyone had a blast after we left (there was bull riding, line dancing, etc). Nick and I just stayed for dinner but we had a great time

Celebrating with the birthday girl!

Day 5 of Christmas Challenge

Today for The 12 Days of Christmas Challenge we are supposed to write about our favorite Christmas movies.

My Christmas favorites are:
Love Actually is so romantic and always puts me in the holiday spirit. The songs are AMAZING!

Christmas Vacation has been one of my family traditions for sooo many years!

Polar Express is also a favorite. We do a Polar Express Day in my class every year and I cry like a baby every time I watch it.

Elf is also a holiday favorite. I laugh and laugh with crazy Buddy the Elf.
What are your Christmas favorites?

Our Black Friday

Our Black Friday didn't include any shopping! (I've always wanted to try it but just cant get out of bed that early!) My Mom and Sister did do it though and had lots of crazy stories to tell! Yikes!

I slept in a bit, then we went to downtown to take some pictures for our Christmas card. It was very difficult this year! First off, Reagan was in a crabby mood! He had a cold and his poor nose wouldn't stop running. Plus it was pretty chilly out yesterday morning. We took a ton of pics and maybe 2 worked! I will post our card proof after I've got them in the mail. Oh well, life with a 19 month old I suppose!

We came home and napped and then hung out. I had big hopes to get our tree up and decorated but ended up being lazy and watching DVDs! Oops!

That night we met my parents and sister for dinner at Chili's and then went to Phoenix Zoo Lights.

This is always one of my favorite traditions in December. It is so beautiful and Reagan really loved it this year. Here are some pictures!

I love my family!

Sisters!

Reagan with his Mimi and Papa!

One of the highlights of the night was when we saw Santa. Reagan started yelling "Santa Santa!" It was sooooo cute. We didn't want to have his picture with Santa here but I can't wait for him to sit on Santa's lap this year. He totally recognizes him and says his names so adoringly.

Thanksgiving 2010

I hope that you all had wonderful Thanksgiving holidays!

There is so much to be thankful for this year. I have an amazing family, wonderful friends, my health, a job that I love, a loving and supportive husband, an adorable little boy, and a God who always provides.

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving.

We spent the day at my parent's house with my sister Meg and her hubby Shaun, my parents, and my Aunt and Uncle from Tucson. My older sister and her family went to NY for Christmas and I can't wait to see their pictures! My two cousins were unable to make it so it ended up being quite small, but it made for a really relaxing day!
